Supervision and Mentorship
A Reflective, Supportive Space for Growth and Professional Development
IFS-Informed Supervision for Therapists
Support for the therapist — and the human within.
Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of experience behind you, supervision is a vital space for growth, reflection, and nourishment. Aakriti offers IFS-informed supervision in a collaborative and non-judgmental environment, where you can explore your clinical work and inner experience with curiosity and compassion.
Approach to Supervision
Supervision sessions with Aakriti don’t just focus on your clients — they also gently explore the parts of you that show up in the therapy room. Whether it’s the striving part, the self-doubting part, or the deeply caring part, all are welcome.
Using a structured yet flexible format, supervision with Aakriti allows space to slow down, reflect, and integrate — so you can bring more Self-energy into your practice and navigate your role with more clarity and confidence. Sessions shall focus on these four domains of supervision – affirmative, explorative, informative and corrective – leaving you feeling more grounded, aligned, and connected — with yourself and your clients.

Who This Is For
IFS-informed supervision may be right for you if you’re:
- A therapist trained in or curious about IFS.
- Seeking a more holistic, self-aware supervisory space.
- Looking to reconnect with your passion and presence in the work.
- Navigating complex cases, burnout, or professional transitions.

What supervisees say about the supervision space:
Mentorship for Psychologists Moving to New Zealand
If you’re planning to pursue a career as a psychologist in New Zealand, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.
With over 12 years of clinical experience across diverse settings, I’m passionate about supporting therapists and clinicians as they navigate their own professional journeys.
Through one-on-one mentorship sessions, I offer genuine, grounded support to help you transition smoothly. From understanding visas and documentation to getting a realistic view of life and work here, you’ll receive information from someone who’s been there — not a random source online. Migration is a major life change.
Having the right guidance can make all the difference.
